The Pole Dancing Experience- What it’s About

Pole dancing received a bad wrap in the past. The negative connotation of it can be blamed due to the association of stereotypes with strip clubs. The truth of the mattter is pole dancing isn’t about stripping, or sexual infedility.

The pole dancing experience for women is about connecting with a part of ourselves, which we tend to lose sight of. This is our sensual self. Dancing is a great form of exercise, it’s fun. It allows us to feel and be sexy.

In this day and age as women- we work, we take care of everyone else-putting ourselves last.

By nature we were designed to create- that is what the feminine energy is about. The art of pole dancing gives us a medium through which we connnect and expereince our sensual and sexual beings.

Sheila from S Factor describes pole dancing as “Fight Club” for women. Pole dancing is something that up until recently was not discussed openly. In some areas of the country- it’s still bit of a taboo subject.

Personally what I get from pole dancing is rise is confidence. Performing pole tricks and dance moves, empowers me. The days that I am not feeling sexy, it boosts my mood and my spirits. The benefits of pole dancing are endless.

It’s a good way to get yourself used to exercise, especially when it’s a challenge to go to the gym to perform a tedious workout. Pole dancign for fitness- provides a cardio vascular and aerobic exercise. ALong with that it’s afantastic way to build strngth in your upper body and your core. Flexibility is also enhanced.

And one of my favorite things about pole dancing is that it is a great way to spice up things in your love life. Dancing for your significant other is just one way to add some zing . Did you know exercise actulally helps stimulate chemicals for arousal?

Pole dancing is an ideal way to feel and be sexy, empowered, fit and boost confidence. If you haven’t tried it, take a class in your area. If you have what do you get form the pole dancing experience?

Pole Dancing Fitness for Jesus-Seriously?

The 2nd Sunday of every month in Spring, Texas you can take part in pole dancing fitness for Jesus.    Interesting concept, don’t ya think?   Of course there are requirements:

  • you must be female to attend the class
  • you must be a church goer. To prove this you have to bring a church program with you to the class
  • The class size is limited to 10 women at a time.

Crystal Dean the instructor and owner of the Best Shape of Your Life, is a former dancer.  Eventually she decided that stripping wasn’t for her- but did like certain aspects of it  (just goes to show you even Christians enjoy pole dancing too.)   She states that she teaches pole dancing for fitness- not teaching women how to be strippers.

The class is conducted with contemporary Christian music.    She claims that she teaches women to feel good about themselves and to be empowered.  Dismissing religion aside, kudos to Crystal.

The Fox interview is below- notice the shoes….hmmmm….

Peekaboo Pole Dancing- Before you Buy

Peekaboo Pole Peekaboo Pole Dancing Before you Buy Peekaboo pole dancing kits have been on the market for quite sometime now. Making it affordable for anyone wanting to pole dance at home. Dancing poles from peekaboo range average about $100- $150 dollars. What’s really great about these poles is they are removable and portable. But before you go out and purchase one, here are some important factors to keep in mind.

Check the manufacturer’s specifications

The first line of peekaboo dance poles, were not meant to be used for professional pole dancing. Needless to say I was one of many people who rushed out to buy one. I rushed home, ripped open the package and immediately set it up.

Then it was showtime…

The pole was set up and I was itching to pole dance. Grabbing the pole, I did an inversion then went onto do the Gemini. Then the pole started to fall with me on it. Fortunately enough, I wasn’t injured.

What I didn’t realize at the time was I hadn’t read the instruction manual… nor the package.

The packaging on the outside of the original Peekaboo Pole clearly states

“The Peekaboo Dance Pole is not a professional dance pole it is used only as part of the Peekaboo pole Dancing game and with the Peekaboo Dance Moves provided. These are designed for the beginner and do not include upside down moves.”

Woops… my bad

Carmen Electra Dance Pole Peekaboo Pole Dancing Before you Buy Good news is that Peekaboo has developed dancing poles for the more advanced pole dancing moves. The Carmen Electra pole are suitable to hold body weight and to perform professional pole dancing moves on.

Just one word of caution make sure to read and follow the installation directions. Or this could happen to you.

The moral of this story is before you invest in peekaboo pole dancing, or any other dance pole is to make sure the pole will do what you want. Carefully read the manufacturer’s product description and the instruction manual.
